Let’s Bake creates a space for shared experiences centered around traditional bread baking. It brings together everyday people to engage in the timeless act of making food collectively—learning from one another and exchanging ideas.

By locating and utilizing public ovens (Les Fours Banaux) across the French-speaking regions of Switzerland, I invite local communities to participate in the process of preparing and baking bread.

While the dough rises and the bread bakes, a visiting artist is invited to present a project—adding another layer of exchange through art and dialogue.

This ongoing intervention combines a fundamental human need—food—with the power of collective learning and creative expression. It transforms an ordinary ritual into a shared moment of culture, conversation, and community.
